Ros joined the Company 29 years ago in February 1982 to assist Mrs Kathleen Lacey, the co-founder of the Company to assist with general office duties.

At this time K Lacey Ltd were starting to change direction from engineering design, inspection and certification with special emphasis on aeronautics / avionics and technical publications and graphic design with associated in-house print services to the specialist procurement, stock holding and supply of high performance wire and cable initially to the aerospace industry and to the Ministry of Defence.

Ros has played a leading role in the transition of the Company to one with a global reputation for outstanding unique quality service in the supply of approved and certified high performance electrical wires and cables. The company supplies into various markets including aerospace/defence, automotive, medical, electronic, marine, audio, lighting, mining and construction, power and rail industries.

Ros has given complete loyalty to the company and dedication to all her tasks as she progressed through all the office and administrative routines including sales, purchasing and customer service, warehouse and cable processing facilities, always requesting more and more responsibility.

Credit has to be given to Ros for the introduction of our first computer system back in 1998 and the faultless commissioning and implementation of the latest state of the art QX system in 2010.Development and maintenance of the Company Quality Accreditation from BS5750 through to ISO9001:2008 has been her responsibility for many years and more recently has actioned and developed all the procedures necessary for gaining the prodigious Aerospace approval AS9120.

Ros is supported at Director level by Stacey Robbins, locally educated in Littlehampton as Sales Manager and Deputy General Manager. Stacey is now in her 20th year with the Company, Stacey joined at the time Ros was appointed Office Manager. Also by Gary Knapp, Director and Company Secretary who has been with K. Lacey Ltd for 10 years.

Ros is married to Paul and has two daughters Emma 21 and Lauren 16.

Keith Lacey remains with the Company as Chairman and C.E. O.
